Jakarta, 15 March 2025 – The SHINE 2025 program, launched by the U-Go Scholarship, aims to empower young women by enhancing their confidence in developing their potential and actively contributing to social progress. This initiative provides a learning and discussion space for scholarship recipients to deepen their understanding of gender equality, self-awareness, and leadership skills. Through inspiring workshops, participants are encouraged to explore their personal values, hone critical thinking abilities, and build confidence to face challenges in both professional and social spheres.
The program features a keynote speech from the Assistant Deputy for Gender Mainstreaming in Economic Affairs, Region 1, Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), along with expert speakers. Additionally, Asep Saefuddin, a board member of INOTEK, delivers a welcome address. Two distinguished speakers—Rani Hastari, a Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist at Plan International Indonesia, and Fina Leonita, a Public Policy Analyst and Member of Generasi Perintis—highlight the contributions of women in education, health, economics, and environmental sectors. This serves as a crucial moment for participants to recognize the strategic role of women in development and formulate impactful actions for their communities.
