Kick Off SHINE 2.0

The Indonesian Technology Innovation Foundation (INOTEK), in collaboration with U-Go Indonesia, will host the Kick Off Program SHINE (She Inspires and Empowers) 2.O on Saturday, April 11, 2026, via Zoom Meeting. This program is set to provide U-Go scholarship recipients with essential leadership skills, self-awareness, and critical thinking abilities, preparing them to become agents of change in their communities.

The U-Go Scholarship Program is designed to empower young women by granting access to higher education while nurturing leadership and analytical thinking. Through SHINE 2.O, scholars in their second, fourth, and sixth semesters will be guided to recognize their personal strengths, build confidence, and develop practical leadership skills that will help them contribute meaningfully to society.

The event will open with remarks from the Chair of INOTEK’s Board of Supervisors and the Deputy for Gender Equality at the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection. They are expected to highlight the importance of gender equality as a fundamental pillar of sustainable social and economic development. Equal access to education, health, employment, and resources, they will emphasize, enables women to improve their quality of life and create positive impacts for society.

The program agenda includes two main workshops: Self-Awareness: Know Yourself, Discover Your Strengths and Leadership: Lead with Purpose. These sessions will encourage participants to explore their values and potential, strengthen communication skills, and enhance decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Interactive Q&A sessions will follow each workshop, allowing participants to engage directly with facilitators.

Toward the end of the event, participants will join group discussions to analyze pressing social issues such as education, health, environment, economy, and media. This activity aims to sharpen their critical and analytical thinking while fostering collaborative problem-solving.

With SHINE 2.O, U-Go and INOTEK reaffirm their commitment to supporting young Indonesian women in becoming empowered, adaptive, and impactful leaders of the future. The program is expected to inspire scholars to express their ideas confidently, take active leadership roles, and drive positive change in their communities.
